Welcome Moe and other Winter events
Monday, January 26th, 2009The weather outside looks a bit foreboding. Looks like we will be having another week of winter weather which is perfect for us here at To The Last Drop! I love cooking on cold blustery days and welcome you to stop in and warm yourself with some cocoa and pick up some soups and comfort foods to take home.
I even have a neighborhood cat to welcome you now. “Moe” who is a resident cat that lives in the village has decided to adopt my front porch as his new home - which is just fine with me. The most amazing part is that he arrived the day after our cat of twelve years, Smokey, passed away. I was heartbroken and then turned around and there was Moe- another gray cat that made me smile.
Funny how things happen- always makes me wonder if there are truly any coincidences in this world. This year, especially, has exhibited to me time and time again that there are reasons for our paths and for the people (animals) and opportunities that cross our paths.
I hope you will cross the path of To The Last Drop in some way or another- and if it is on a snowy day- there will be cocoa waiting for you, along with a new cat on the front porch to greet you.
Claudia
