 To The Last Drop is a labor of love business established by Claudia Pierson to promote the celebration of cooking and preparing good food, then sharing among families and friends.
Claudia is very passionate about her cooking and believes strongly
in the
gift of a family or firiends sitting down to a healthy, well prepared meal.
With this
in mind, she has established To The Last Drop as a place
for fun cooking classes, Cuisine To Go menu items and personalized catering
for special events
of 100 or less.
You're always welcome to stop any time to our store on Elm Street and see what's new in our retail section with sauces, spices, cook books and more.
You'll also find our Cuisine To Go coolers filled with fresh made soups, pastas and other delights you can enjoy at home for dinner or lunch.
Why the name "To The Last Drop"?
The name, "To The Last Drop" is in recognition of Claudia Pierson's great-grandfather, Joel Cheek, creator of the legendary Maxwell House coffee brand.
A grocer in Nashville, TN, Mr. Cheek
perfected his own unique brand
of
roasted coffee which was served as the house blend at the local Maxwell House, a famous
hotel restaurant in the 1900s.
On a visit to Nashville, President Teddy Roosevelt dined at the Maxwell House and pronounced Claudia's great-grandfather's coffee to be "Good to the Last Drop"!
With President Roosevelt's permission, this phrase became the brand identity for the Maxwell House coffee name as it soon grew to become America's favorite coffee.
Claudia's great-grandfather believed that combining the best quality coffee beans of the day made for the best roasted blend.
Like Joel Cheek, she takes this philosophy into every facet of her business - that the finest ingredients produce the best results.

She also has a unique selection of cookbooks that make great gifts for your favorite chef - or for yourself!
We can also arrange "Special Order" of classic sauces, savory snacks and homemade chicken, beef and vegetable stocks for you.
