Come and join us for culinary classes at To The Last Drop!

All ages are invited for the various classes and subjects- just choose one that
fits your interests and needs and get cooking!

Classes are limited to eight people and fill quickly!

January 14 “Stews and Cassoulets”

Enjoy learning a few new recipes for the winter months that will warm your nights and please your palate.

January 21 – “Soups On”

10-Noon                                                                            $60.00

Learn the basics of soup making including homemade stocks and bases and bring home a sample or two for your lunch!

“Adult Cooking Basics”

6:30-8:30 p.m.                                                                      $50.00

This is a class for those who would like to cook more but can’t seem to get to the kitchen! We will get you over the hump and give you some basic skills and recipes that you will use over and over again!

January 28-

“Out the Door Breakfasts”

We will explore some great options for healthy and delicious breakfasts for your family on the go!

“ Cupids’ Bulls-Eye!!”

Planning on that special Valentine dinner? Why not cook up a romantic dinner at home rather than sharing the night with a crowded restaurant? Recipes and cooking tips that will woo and wow your heart and palette!

February 11-

“Cooking for Two”

Empty Nesters or just a happy duo- there is an art to cooking for two! Stop eating out every night and discover how fun it is to cook together and relax in your own kitchen.

“Cooking for One”

You deserve to eat well and are worth the effort. Save money and time by cooking at home and enjoying the gift you will give yourself. We will make several recipes as well as explore the many ways to keep your shelves and refrigerator full but not waste a bit!

February 18- “Classic Sauces”

6:30-8:30 p.m.                                                                 $50.00

We will create some of the most classic sauces in cooking as well as learn reduction technique and the many additions to your meals.

March 4- “Italian Sauces”

10-Noon  and 6:30-8:30 p.m.                                                     $50.00

Choose one of the above times as this class is so popular we offer it twice! We will make several Italian classics as well as explore the many variances of pastas.

March 11- “Veggies”

10-Noon                                                                     $50.00

There are so many wonderful veggies that get missed or overlooked and we will learn about some of them and make a few dishes that will have you looking for them in the produce aisles!

March 18- “Using Fresh Herbs”

10-noon                                                                     $60.00

Fresh is best- very true! Learn the incredible difference that fresh herbs make in your cooking and salads and go home with your own windowsill herb pot!

“Thai Cooking”

6:30-8:30                                                                    $60.00

Discover all the unique flavors and curries of Thai cuisine. We will create several dishes together and try some new and different tastes.

April 8- “Pantry Class”

A money and frustration saving class! Stock your pantry with the basics you need to cook the meals you like. Clean out the waste and excess and get down to the basics so that you are always ready to create a meal and limit your trips to the store! An invaluable class!

“Sushi!!”

Learn the basic skills to make your own sushi rolls and special accompaniments , have fun in the creative process and invent your own roll!

Spring comes bursting in with a bounty of fresh herbs, vegetables and wonderful opportunity to create some flavorful dishes. Join in and create some delicious dishes with us!

April 29- “Simply salads”

Salads are an open path of choices from the very basic to complex. Explore and create a few basic dressings as well as salads to add to your entrees at home or stand alone as a complete meal!

“Bounty from the Waters”

Test out the waters with several recipes and cooking tips for fish. Learn about buying the freshest and  conservation aware choices as well as the health benefits of several types.

To The Last Drop CHEF FOR A DAY!!

This is a specially designed class that has two possible forms:

**A class for the person who loves to cook and wants to experiment with a new cuisine.

**A class for the person that would like to have a dinner party and invite friends to share in a meal
but may be hesitant to do so for lack of experience in cooking or space.

The format for the class will include the entire day/evening in the To The Last Drop kitchen and dining room. You will arrive in the a.m., plan your schedule and prep work, cook the meal and then take a few hours break
to go home and get dressed for the evening.

When you return to a perfectly appointed table in the dining room and a kitchen filled with wonderful aromas.

You will be able to serve and enjoy the meal that you have prepared with your friends and family. No dishes
to clean, no house to clean, no ringing phones or interruptions! You will be having a dinner out that you
have prepared!!

We take care of all the stress and worry- you just cook and enjoy the bounty of your efforts!

This class is scheduled by appointment only and requires a four week advance reservation.

Hours: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. prepare and cook   6-9 p.m. dinner/dessert with guests!
