Come and join us for culinary classes at To The Last Drop!

All ages are invited for the various classes and subjects- just choose one that
fits your interests and needs and get cooking!

Classes are limited to eight people and fill quickly!

June 9      “Marinades, Dressings and Glazes”             6:30-9:30 p.m. Fee: $50.00

We will create all of the above for your summer cooking and salads! Lots of fresh herbs, various oils and vinegars and even some ingredients you would never imagine!

June 16     “Men’s Night Out…Beyond Burgers and Brats”  6:30-9:30 Fee: $60.00

Grab a few friends and come join us in the kitchen for some great meals and grill ideas that will expand your already skillful repertoire!

June 23     “Veggies, veggies and more Veggies!     6:30-8:30 p.m. Fee: $50.00

This class will open your eyes to all the wonderful bounty of summer veggies as well as all those you miss and walk right by in the produce area every trip to the market. Yes, we will even learn to cook and like brussel sprouts and the elusive eggplant!

June 30-     “Breaking the Code”      6:30-8:30pm Fee: $50.00

We will unlock what words like “fat free”  “organic” and “all natural” mean, cook together and really know what it is we are eating and sharing with our families.

July 7       “Teen Cuisine”       12:30-2:30pm  and 6:30-8:30p.m.  Fee: $60.00 
                                                                            

This class will be offered at two times! We will create a tailored class to the levels and interests of all participants so we can cover just what it is that the new cooks on the block would like to create! Lots of fun, very relaxed and basic skills covered!

July 9                    “Farmers Market Mystery Meal”    8:30-11:30 a.m. Fee: $65.00

This is a Saturday class with a bit of a twist…We will meet at the shop, have some coffee, juice, breakfast and then head to the Farmer’s Market. There you will be given a stipend to spend on whatever you would like…all to then bring back to shop and cook! We will spread out our bounty on the dining room table and from that which you have chosen, decide what we will create! Many lessons to be learned from this class as well as lots of fun!

July 21                           Sushi!                       6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

We will explore the many varieties of sushi, some other Japanese dishes and then have a great time inventing your own rolls!

August 4                       Out the Door Breakfasts            6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

Most of us make that dash for the door every a.m. without taking the time to start our day healthy. We will discover that breakfast doesn’t need to slow us down…in fact, the breakfast we will create will actually speed us up with healthy and nutritious energy all day long!

August 11                          “Soups On!”                          6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

The ultimate comfort food…Soup! Learn to make your own stock, healthy and nutritious soups and a meal in itself! This is one of our favorites and others as well…it fills up quickly!

August 18                          Pantry class                        6:30-8:30 Fee: $40.00

This is a helpful and very informative class…yes, we will also do some cooking! First, though we will explore how to organize and stock your pantry at home to tailor to your cooking habits and needs. We all have too much in our pantries and we will create your own personalized pantry list so you will have what need but no more excess and wasted money. No more daily trips to the market!!

September 1                           No Thai Required”          6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

My friend Steve gets credit for the name of this class… This is a great class which cover all the unique and wonderful flavors of Thai cooking – curries, coconut milk.

September 8                 “Healthy Snacks for Kids”      6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

This is a great class for Moms and Dads….explore how to create healthy and delicious snacks for your children for at home, after school on the run and in those long car trips. No more drive-thrus and hollow treats. There will be some great recipes to make together at home as well!

September 15, 22 & 29            “Breaking the Stereotypes”       6:30-8:30

 Fee: each class  $60.00  All three  $150.00 (a $30 savings!)

This is a three part series of classes to help break the myths we have about certain foods/old beliefs. The following  are the three classes in this series:

“Casseroles…not just tuna noodle anymore!” “Leftovers…no longer a frightening thing!” “It’s Good for You”

You may sign up for just one of all three…and begin to look at your meal planning in a whole new light!

October 6                    “Stews and Cassoulets”      6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

Entering into the winter season with these recipes under your belt will assure many warm nights in the kitchen and happy healthy meals!

October 13                         “Fall’s Bounty”              6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

So much there in the winter months for our table that we overlook …Learn to enjoy all the seasons of our harvests and begin to use what is available to you rather than seeking all which comes from far away.

October 27                    “Mother Daughter/Father Son “  6:30-8:30 Fee: $40.00 per person

The name says it all…come together, cook together and add another deposit to your special memory bank! The course topic will be decided with all participants prior to class…your choice!

November 3                  “Couples Night Out”         6:30-8:30 Fee: $80.00 per couple

You know the old saying…”the couple that plays together stays together”. Kitchens are great playgrounds and we will have an evening of fun for the two of you and provide a nice escape for the evening!

November 10         “Thanksgiving Sides and Appetizers”  6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

Take the stress out of your holiday feast with some great ideas for sides and appetizers.

November 17            “It’s Just a Bird”                    6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

We will address the illustrious bird once and for all. No more worries about how to clean, cook and stuff this fowl…and after all is said and done-you will be taking this off your “worry” list. We will also cover several ways to cook a turkey and what to do with the leftovers!

December 1          “Stress Free Holiday Entertaining”    6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

Trust me on this one… you won’t be sorry!

December 8                 “Spreads, Dips and Tapenades” 6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

Great class for the holiday season. We will have lots of recipes for your  kitchen and a few that will be great gifts to share with friends.

December 15                 “They’re Here!”            6:30-8:30 Fee: $60.00

Get yourself ready for all the holiday guests, kids returning home and your busy schedule with all that shopping and wrapping. Lots of  do ahead ideas and lots of fun…we will bring in the season together!

**Classes have a maximum of 8 guests and a minimum of three.

**Teen classes are available for individuals or up to groups of 8. Please inquire regarding this fun opportunity to get kids in the kitchen and give them some great tools for healthy eating! Classes are $40.00 per person  and the topics/cuisines are determined by the students prior to our class together. A wonderful gift/party idea as well!

We also offer Private Dinners in the dining room for groups of 10 and under. You will select one of our private dinner menus and cuisines (Thai, Italian, French, Southwest, and Spanish/Tapas) and when you arrive, it will be prepped and ready for you to cook with your group, then sit down and enjoy the meal you helped prepare, be served to you!

CHEF FOR A DAY!

This is a specially designed class that has two possible forms:

**A class for the person who loves to cook, and wants to experiment with a new cuisine.

**A class for the person that would like to have a dinner party and invite friends to share in a meal but  may be hesitant to do so for lack of experience in cooking or confidence.

The format for the class will include the entire day/evening in the To The Last Drop kitchen and shop. You will arrive in the a.m., plan your schedule and prep work, cook the meal and then take a few hours break to go home and dress for the evening. When you return, you will be able to serve the meal you prepared to friends and family in the dining room at To The Last Drop!

No dishes for you to clean up, no house to clean, no phone ringing or interruptions! You will be enjoying a wonderful dinner out….one that you cooked! We will take care of all the details, you just come ready to cook and enjoy your evening.

This class is scheduled by appointment only and requires a six week advance reservation. You may email
